Seventeen-year-old Annie Blake stares at her computer screen when her screams pierce the night and her quiet country household. It’s been four years since she lost her twin sister to the brutal murder of the man who will soon be named The Double Twin Murderer. All Annie can do as her parents burst into her room is point at the message on the computer screen:

THERE WERE SIX THAT I COUNTED AS THE BEST.  I’VE WATCHED EACH OF YOU WHO REMAIN GROW INTO WOMANHOOD.  TWO HAVE PLAYED THE GAME AND LOST.  ANNIE, YOU ARE THE LOVELIEST OF THEM ALL.  THE DICE HAVE BEEN TOSSED.  YOU ARE NEXT.   IT’S TIME FOR YOU TO PLAY MY GAME OF PLEASURE.

EXCERPT:

He loved the smell of rotting flesh, for the stink of decomposition represented an integral part of his game. The sweet, sickening smell of the bloated, rotting body reminded him of the fun he had recently experienced—and the fun yet to come. However, he knew he must get rid of the corpse, and soon. His plan didn’t allow for any curiosity about the smell, or nosing around the motor coach when he stopped to fill up with gas, or pull in for a night‘s sleep.
He watched the GPS as the mileage indicator clicked down the miles. It wouldn’t be long before he arrived at the old abandoned house he had found in the Squirrel Hill District of Pittsburgh. The search for Jessica had been very productive so far.
His heart skipped a beat at the thought of Jessica—so innocent and unsuspecting. He hummed softly as he dreamed of the chase and what it would feel like to have her warm body under him, giving in to his every desire as she gasped and struggled. Yes, he yearned to experience the overpowering feeling of lust and dominance as the girl’s last breath left her body.
